| ROTOCOUPE
is a range of attachments, which allow the breakage of the long chips
everywhere where machining requires chip removal by turning or drilling.
There are many different ROTOCOUPE models adapted in respect
to function and the position on the respective machines. The wide
diversity of machines and their designs carry the large number of
different attachments. To machine, one uses tools, without chip breaker, i.e. cheaper tools and setting up. |

FUNCTION : |
|
| The cutting
tool fixed on the ROTOCOUPE performs an oscillating movement
in the feed direction of the tool. The oscillation frequency of which
the chip length depends, is adjusted by the air pressure, respectively
by the air flow feeding the pneumatic motor. The oscillation amplitude can also be set to be adapted to the cutting conditions. The same applies to the penetration force of the cutting tool. The continuous oscillation makes the formation of long curly chips impossible. The latter being of a small dimension, are carried away by the cutting fluid and stick neither to the tool nor to the machined component. |
